Comparativa de conocimientos sobre higiene bucal de una zona rural y urbana

Abstract

Objetivo: analizar los conocimientos de la higiene bucal en los estudiantes de 10mo en una zona rural la “Unidad educativa Luis Ulpiano de la Torre” y en la zona urbana la “Unidad educativa Particular Aduana” en el período de noviembre febrero 2022-2023.Método: Descriptiva observacional, la muestra estuvo integrada por 60 estudiantes. Resultados y conclusión: Se observó que en la zona urbana el 73,3% de los estudiantes tienen un nivel de conocimiento alto, sin embargo, en la zona rural el 33,3% de los estudiantes alcanzan un nivel alto de conocimientos existiendo un déficit de número de personas que habitan las zonas rurales con información básica para el cuidado del sistema estomatognático

Objective: to analyze the knowledge of oral hygiene in 10th grade students in a rural area "Unidad educativa Luis Ulpiano de la Torre" and in the urban area "Unidad educativa Particular Aduana" in the period of November February 2022-2023. Method: Descriptive observational, the sample consisted of 60 students. Results and conclusion: It was observed that in the urban area 73.3% of the students have a high level of knowledge, however, in the rural area 33.3% of the students reach a high level of knowledge, thus there is a deficit in the number of people living in rural areas with basic information on the care of the stomatognathic system.
