Caracterización etnobotánica, fitoquímica y farmacológica de myrcianthes hallii

Abstract

Objetivo: Describir el perfil fitoquímico y farmacológico de la Myrcianthes halliipara comprobar si esta pudiera ser utilizada como una posible alternativa terapéutica frente a la baja producción de nuevos fármacos y la resistencia antimicrobiana existente a ciertos medicamentos. Método: Descriptiva documental, se gestionó la revisión de 15 artículos científicos publicados en Scielo, Latindex, Redalyc, PubMed. Conclusión: La presencia de diferentes compuestos polifenólicos con actividad antibacteriana encontrados en la caracterización fitoquímica del extracto de hoja de Myrcianthes halliile atribuyen a esta plata actividad antimicrobiana contra bacterias como: S. aureus , P. aeruginosa , S. pyogenes y Enterococcus spp.

Objective: To describe the phytochemical and pharmacological profile of Myrcianthes hallii to check if it could be used as a possible therapeutic alternative in view of the low production of new drugs and the existing antimicrobial resistance to certain drugs.
