La Gerencia pública de la ciudad. Una perspectiva epistemológica

Abstract

El ensayo hace una breve reflexión filosófica que se cuestiona sobre la verdad y su significado en las ciencias actuales. Toma como base los aportes teóricos de Georges Balandier en su obra “El desorden” (1988), para debatir la comprensión del cosmos que evoluciona del Mecanicismo a la Entropía; el comportamiento de los sistemas complejos y abiertos y la necesidad de adecuar la forma de conocerlos. Se perfilan metafóricamente las ciudades como sistemas “termodinámicos” y concluye que fundamentar epistemológicamente la investigación de la gerencia pública de las ciudades, parte de asumir su objeto como un sistema complejo y abierto, sugiriendo que la búsqueda de la verdad consensuada y la aplicación de los postulados socio construccionistas, parecieran la forma de conocer, más pertinente en este caso

It is based onthe theoretical contributions of Georges Balandier in his work “El desorden” (1988), to debate the understanding of the cosmosthat evolves from Mechanism to Entropy; the behavior of complex and open systems and the necessity to adapt the way of knowingthem.
