Amor en tránsito. Hacia una Sociología del Amor a la venezolana

Abstract

Migrar es entrar en una trama de significado novel que, en ciertos casos, puede ser abiertamente hostil. La presentación del sí mismoen una inicial extraña cotidianidad constituye un reto que solicita una calibración astuta de la actuación y de las expresiones públicas usadas. El objetivo del artículo consiste en explorar la constitución del amor a la venezolana a través de una metodología cualitativa y un enfoque microsociológico. Se inicia con una aproximación a la cultura con la mira en la comprensión de las costumbres y tradiciones. Se aborda el emplazamiento fundamental de la indagación, la circunstancia cotidiana. A continuación, se introduce el amor como la temática ejemplar a ser tratada en función a la realidad actual del emigrante venezolano. Posteriormente, se analiza la constitución del amor a la venezolana mediante trece entrevistas hechas a connacionales con mínimo cinco años fuera del país. Se concluye que el amor a la venezolana se expresa en cuatro categorías relacionadas: idealización, cortejo, caballerosidad y servicio. La circunstancia migratoria presenta una oportunidad de expandir y sopesar los roles que se seguían irreflexivamente en el país de origen. Si bien hablar sobre el amor es versar sobre la relación de parejas, existe asimismo una vinculación muy interesante al gentilicio: El venezolano se da cuenta fuera de su terruño cuán amorosa es su forma de ser.

To migrate is to enter into a plot of new meaning that unfortunately in many cases as is shown globally can be openly hostile. The objective of the following article is to explore the constitution of Venezuelan love through a qualitative methodology and a microsociological approach. It begins with an approach to culture with a view to understanding customs and traditions. The fundamental location of the inquiry, the daily circumstance, is addressed. Next, love is introduced as the exemplary theme to be treated based on the current reality of the Venezuelan emigrant. Subsequently, the constitution of the Venezuelan love is analyzed through thirteen interviews with nationals who have been outside the country for at least three years. It is concluded that Venezuelan love is expressed in four related categories: idealization, courtship, chivalry and service. The migratory circumstance presents an opportunity to expand and weigh the roles that were thoughtlessly followed in the country of origin. Although talking about love is about the relationship of couples, there is also a very interesting link to the gentile: The Venezuelan realizes outside his homeland how loving his way of being is.
