Relevancia de las crestas papilares en el proceso penal y criminalístico en la República Bolivariana de Venezuela

Abstract

Este artículo de investigación tiene por objetivo llevar a cabo demostrar la relevancia que posee la dactiloscopia en el ámbito de la criminalística y su posterior aporte al proceso penal venezolano, considerando los múltiples atrasos que se han presentado en su aplicación en el país al momento de practicar esta disciplina en el sitio del suceso, como también la grave falta de reactivos para tomar una huella en óptimas condiciones que permita visualizar los elementos requeridos para identificar a una persona, por lo tanto el pensar que la disciplina precursora de la investigación criminal se viera tan afectada por la falta de preparación en lo que respecta a gran parte de los peritos encargados de fungir como dactiloscopista, genera que se cree un vago avance en el proceso penal, por lo que el dictaminar cuanto puede aportar el empleo de este método de identificación se centra en recurrir a la historia misma de las crestas para que sus precursores considerasen su valor y crearan los métodos más factibles para facilitar su empleo en la identificación criminal y la forma correcta de tomar las huellas

This research article aims to demonstrate the relevance of fingerprinting in the field of criminalistics and its subsequent contribution to the Venezuelan criminal process. It takes into consideration the multiple delays that have occurred in its application in the country at the time of practicing this discipline at the scene of the event, as well as the serious lack of reagents necessary to take a print in optimal conditions that allows visualizing the elements required to identify a person. Therefore, the thought that the precursor discipline of criminal investigation would be so affected by the lack of preparation on the part of a large segment of the experts in charge of acting as dactyloscopists generates a vague advance in the criminal process. Ruling on how much the use of this identification method can contribute focuses on resorting to the very history of the ridges so that their precursors considered their value and created the most feasible methods to facilitate its use in criminal identification and the correct way to take fingerprints
