Aproximación teórica a la gerencia deportiva, enfocada en el beisbol venezolano

Abstract

El presente trabajo se realizó en el tenor de una investigación cualitativa, enmarcado en el enfoque fenomenológico apoyado en la hermenéutica. El propósito consiste en generar una aproximación teórica a la gerencia deportiva, enfocada en el beisbol venezolano, la cual condujo a develar el estado del arte del conocimiento gerencial que poseen los dirigentes deportivos, comprender los fundamentos científicos, tecnológicos, gerenciales y metodológicos que caracterizan a la gestión del mismo, así como interrelacionar en un orden sistémico y abierto, los fundamentos gerenciales. Los actores sociales que participaron en la investigación, fueron cuatro (4) gerentes deportivos. La recaudación de la información se formalizó a través de la entrevista a profundidad, apoyada en un guion o cuestionario abierto, análisis documental, grabaciones, fotografías, entre otras; con el fin de conocer desde diferentes fuentes la información. En este orden, se utilizó la sistematización de las categorías de análisis y las emergentes a través de la triangulación. Las situaciones vivenciadas desde los albores de la interactividad surgida en el quehacer investigativo, demostraron, entre otros aspectos, que la gerencia deportiva requiere articular el saber científico con la experiencia y finalidad de lograr que las actividades deportivas programadas sean alcanzadas de manera efectiva y eficiente. Finalmente, se evidencia la necesidad de que el gerente deportivo tenga un perfil cónsono con la realidad deportiva desde el punto de vista científico, metodológico y técnico, enfoques que le permitirán comprender y conducir el béisbol venezolano. Resultados estos, que fueron consecuentes para elaborar la aproximación teórica enfocada en la gerencia deportiva, desde el contexto del béisbol venezolano.

The present work was carried out in the tenor of qualitative research, framed in the phenomenological approach based on hermeneutics. The same had the purpose of generating a theoretical approximation to sports management focused on Venezuelan baseball, which led to reveal the state of the art of management knowledge sports leaders have, understand the scientific, technological, managerial and methodological foundations that characterize the management of the same as well as interrelate in a systemic and open order, the managerial basics. The social actors who participated in the study were four (4) sports managers. In order to obtain the information, I applied the in-depth interview, supported by an open guide or questionnaire, documentary analysis, recordings, photographs, among others, with the purpose of knowing the facts from different sources. For analyzing the information, it was proceeded to systematize the categories of analysis and the emerging categories by means of triangulation. The situations experienced from the dawn of the emerged interactivity in the investigative work, demonstrated, among other aspects, that sports management demands to articulate scientific knowledge with experience, with the aim of making possible programmed sports activities become achieved in an effective and efficient manner. For this, it is necessary the sports manager has a profile consistent with the sporting reality from the scientific, methodological and technical point of view, approaches that will allow him to understand and manage Venezuelan baseball. Results as such, which were reliable to develop the theoretical approximation focused on sports management from the context of Venezuelan baseball.
