Estrategias investigativas en bioética para fomentar la autonomía con sentido humanista en el quehacer tecno-científico del estudiante universitario

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como principal objetivo diseñar estrategias investigativas en bioética para fomentar la autonomía con sentido humanista en el quehacer tecno-científico de los estudiantes del Programa de Radiodiagnóstico de la UNERG. Como sustento teórico las propuestas sobre bioética de Potter y Principalísimo de Beauchamp y Childress. Metodológicamente se abordó como proyecto factible, de campo, documental, descriptivo, no experimental. La muestra la conforman 18 individuos, miembros Programa de Radiodiagnóstico de la UNERG. Se empleó como como técnicas e instrumentos de recolección de datos la observación y un cuestionario de diez ítems, instrumento validado y cuya confiabilidad fue comprobada mediante Coeficiente KR20, cuyo valor fue 0,95. El resultado señala la escasa presencia de la bioética en los programas de estudio y el interés por el estudio de su temática, la no identificación de los participantes con las líneas de investigación actuales; el interés por la definición de áreas temáticas sobre temas bioéticos y la ausencia de estrategias que fomenten la investigación, adicional al trabajo especial de grado. A partir de lo anterior, destaca la necesidad de fomentar en los alumnos la investigación en temas conexos y vinculados con la profesión. Se concluye que la bioética con su soporte disciplinar filosófico y la construcción de una línea de investigación en torno a ella como instrumento focalizador del incentivo para motivar la investigación con perfil humanista. Lo que lleva a proponer el diseño de un área temática como alternativa para fomentar el estudio autonómico de esta disciplina.

The present research aimed to design investigative strategies in bioethics to promote autonomy with a humanistic perspective in the techno-scientific work of students in the Radiodiagnosis Program at UNERG. The theoretical framework was based on Potter's proposals on bioethics and the Principlism of Beauchamp and Childress. Methodologically, it was approached as a feasible project, using field, documentary, descriptive, and non-experimental methods. The sample consisted of 18 individuals, members of the Radiodiagnosis Program at UNERG. Data collection techniques and instruments included observation and a ten-item questionnaire, which was validated and whose reliability was verified using the KR20 coefficient, yielding a value of 0.95. The results indicate a limited presence of bioethics in the study programs and an interest in exploring the subject matter, as well as a lack of identification among participants with current research lines; there was also expressed interest in defining thematic areas related to bioethical issues and a notable absence of strategies to encourage research beyond the special degree project. Based on these findings, the need to promote student research on related topics tied to the profession is emphasized. It is concluded that bioethics, with its philosophical disciplinary support, and the establishment of a research line around it, can serve as a focal instrument to incentivize research with a humanistic profile. This leads to proposing the design of a thematic area as an alternative to foster autonomous study of this discipline.
