Calidad Educativa desde la Gerencia del Docente de Aula

Abstract

La investigación titulada: Calidad educativa desde la gerencia del docente de aula, tuvo como objetivo determinar la correlación existente entre el rol gerencial del docente de aula en la calidad educativa de los diversos procesos académicos que lleva adelante en clases. Como variables de estudio se dispusieron el gerente docente de aula y la calidad educativa, de cada una de ellas se indagaron teorías y conceptualizaciones que permitieron una mayor claridad del significado de cada una, así como algunos estudios previos relacionados con el tema central del estudio. Metodológicamente se utilizó el tipo de investigación básico con un diseño No Experimental, de nivel descriptivo correlacional y con enfoque hipotético deductivo. El escenario fue la Escuela Primaria Bolivariana “Olga Camacaro”, ubicada en el sector Cambullón de la parroquia Mapararí del municipio Federación, estado Falcón, Venezuela. La población fue todo el personal docente de la escuela, con una muestra de 20 docentes quienes tienen un mínimo de 10 años como docentes de aula. Como resultados, se obtuvo que, efectivamente el rol gerencial del docente de aula incide directamente en la calidad educativa manifiesta en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, por lo que la hipótesis fue confirmada. Se concluye, la necesidad de formar al docente en el área gerencial para que posea suficientes herramientas para afrontar esta función en su salón de clases diariamente.

The research entitled: Educational quality from the classroom teacher's management, aimed to determine the correlation between the managerial role of the classroom teacher in the educational quality of the various academic processes that he/she carries out in classes. The classroom teacher manager and educational quality were used as study variables, and theories and conceptualizations were investigated for each of them that allowed for greater clarity of the meaning of each one, as well as some previous studies related to the central theme of the study. Methodologically, the basic type of research was used with a non-experimental design, descriptive correlational level and with a hypothetical deductive approach. The setting was the “Olga Camacaro” Bolivarian Primary School, located in the Cambullón sector of the Mapararí parish of the Federación municipality, Falcón state, Venezuela. The population was all the school's teaching staff, with a sample of 20 teachers who have a minimum of 10 years as classroom teachers. As a result, it was found that, indeed, the managerial role of the classroom teacher directly affects the educational quality manifested in the teaching-learning process, so the hypothesis was confirmed. It is concluded that there is a need to train teachers in the managerial area so that they have sufficient tools to face this function in their classroom on a daily basis.
