Una vida por la educación física en el estado Sucre: Miguel Bennasar Camargo

Abstract

La Educación Física en el estado Sucre Venezuela tiene una historia que data del siglo XIX y que sigue un recorrido evolutivo hasta el presente. Ese acontecimiento oficial se cuenta desde documentos, sin precisar aportes y cambios que los propios docentes han hecho a la luz de las transformaciones estructurales y curriculares habidas. Por ello, la investigación se soportó en el método Historia de vida para, desde los relatos de vida de entrevistas a siete (7) informantes clave acerca de la obra de Miguel Bennasar Camargo, para volver a mirar la historia de la Educación Física en el estado Sucre. La metodología aplicada fue el enfoque cualitativo, método historia de vida, técnica entrevista a profundidad, instrumento grabación. Como hallazgos se encontró que la experiencia biográfica de Don Miguel fue más allá de lo escolar y alcanzó lo dirigencial, el arbitraje, lo exclusivamente deportivo en diversas disciplinas, además de lo artístico y lo cultural.

Physical Education in Venezuela has a history that dates back to the 19th century and follows an evolutionary path up to the present. This official event is told from documents, without specifying the contributions and changes that the teachers themselves have made in the light of the structural and curricular transformations that have taken place. Therefore, the research was based on the life history method, from the life stories of interviews to seven (7) key informants about the work of Miguel Bennasar Camargo, to look again at the history of Physical Education in the state of Sucre. The methodology applied was the qualitative approach, life history method, in-depth interview technique, recording instrument. As findings it was found that the biographical experience of Don Miguel went beyond the school and reached the leadership, the refereeing, the exclusively sporting in various disciplines, as well as the artistic and cultural.
