Educación universitaria emergente

Abstract

En el contexto de pandemia, la educación tuvo que transitar desde la presencialidad hasta la total virtualidad, sin estar en muchos casos preparada. De ahí que el artículo reflexiona acerca de la educación universitaria emergente. Se fundamenta en un estudio ubicado en el paradigma interpretativo y el método hermenéutico, aplicando una entrevista a seis profesores de universidades públicas venezolanas, concluyéndose que la principal fortaleza de la educación fue el talento humano, especialmente los participantes; la mayor la oportunidad, la diversidad de tecnología que se utilizó; la debilidad, el rendimiento académico porque aunque fue bueno hay cierta desconfianza en este por parte de algunos profesores; así como insuficiente formación en el área de la tecnología de ambas poblaciones y la principal amenaza, las debilidades de internet en el país.

In the context of a pandemic, the education that had to go from face-to-face to full virtuality, without being in many cases prepared. Hence, the article reflects on the emerging university education. It is based on a study located in the interpretive paradigm and the hermeneutical method, applying an interview to six professors from Venezuelan public universities, concluding that the main strength of education was human talent, especially the participants; the greater the opportunity, the diversity of technology that was used; the weakness, the academic performance because, although it was good, there is some mistrust in it on the part of some teachers; as well as insufficient training in the area of technology for both populations and the main threat, the weaknesses of the internet in the country.
