The objective of the research was to interpret social pedagogical actions for the transformation of
the role of the family, school and community in the E.E.I.B. “Arnaldo Reina. The research was
based on a qualitative interpretive paradigm and used Gadamer's (2001) hermeneutic method. The
setting of the study was the “Arnaldo Reina” Bolivarian Initial Education School (E.E.I.B.) in San
Fernando, Apure state. The informants were three early education teachers with more than seven
years of service, selected for their knowledge and experience. Data were collected through semistructured
interviews and analyzed using categorization, structuring and triangulation processes.
The results indicated that the lack of parental participation is due in part to the culture of the
surrounding vulnerable populations, where the search for a better quality of economic life often
results in the neglect of the educational process of their children. Furthermore, the perception that
it is not necessary to study to have a satisfactory life contributes to this problem. It is concluded
that it is essential to implement actions that promote greater integration of the family in education.
The Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted the urgent need for parents to take a more active role in
their children's learning, with guidance from teachers. The active participation of parents is crucial
for the development of citizens fit for life and society.
